Polly says:

I always have random conversations with Polly. They are usually very entertaining. This is one of those entertaining moments....
Polly: I wanted to paint my room yellow but mom wouldn't let me because she said it would look like pee.
Me: She said that!? She said the word pee???
Polly:Actually she didn't say that, I just imagined she said that.

Ode to Dewitt

Dewitt is a silly silly boy. Yesterday he turned 16 and got his licence! So legit. He is the middlest middle child, but there is nothing middle about him. He has always been the one to make everyone laugh, CONSTANTLY! When we were younger and more scared of life, we would always ask Dewitt to do things like go ask a random stranger for the time, or go get extra ketchup from the mcdonalds guy. He always would because hes a sucka! No he really was just awesome and would help us out.
When Dewitt was younger he had MaNy nicknames. One of these was 'baldy man'. As a toddler he wasn't actually bald but he coulda fooled anyone! His hair was basically albino. He would always have funny sayings that he would reserve for when he was angry, like "im not letting you into my purple cave anymore". When we first moved into our home, it was so big and we were so little. It was all a little overwhelming, but convienently Dewitt had a HUGE bed. So for the first year or so Dallin and I would always come and sleep with Dewitt in his room. The three of us still live it up every christmas eve in Dewitts room.
Dewitt is awesome because he can quote an entire movie! We seriously have no need for blockbuster or netflix if Dewitt has already seen the movie. He is amazing because he made me a duct tape backpack. My backpack is the envy of the whole campus and its all because of Dewitt.
Some of my favorite memories with Dewitt are driving him around to pick up fast offerings. This was a joint calling I think because I always got to be the one to drive him around, and it was perfect because by the time we got home, the rest of the familia had already made dinner!
Dewitt is loving, forgiving, and hilarious
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Got myself a notion...

Once upon a time, there was a fair maiden. She was quite ill the entire weekend before finals, and felt it neccessary to not study one bit, all in the name of recovery. Needless to say this was an appropriate decision, and the young maid felt in far higher spirits thanks to her efforts (or lack of efforts)!...
I just felt terrible this past weekend, but I can't begin to act like I'm special because everyone and their dog is sick. I do believe my reasons for becoming ill go as follows...
1. I sleep in very close proximity to my roomie who was sick before me.
2. Half of the tennis team is/or was deathly ill.
3. I spent very late nights riding in the back of trucks full of snow on the way to Wal Mart- It could be argued that point numero tres could be broken up into three points of its own. 1.late nights 2. snow trucks 3. wal mart- enough said.
In other news, I just recently downloaded A Goofy Movie soundtrack! One of the best purchases of my life.
Sacrament meeting went nearly a half hour longer than usual today, gotta love testimony meeting:)
Less than 20 days till Christmas!
I have had the most bizzare dreams lately! One dream was that it was Christmas Eve and that the world burst into complete Anarchy! (I have actually had many anarchy dreams in my life-I blame the parents for this) Another was that I went on a temple trip, and ended up finding out that I was actually going down to my OWN wedding! Imagine my suprise. There were a few more but I think my mind is starting to just repress all these strange dreams. Praise Be!
"And maybe love is the reason why for the first time ever were seeing things eye to eye!"
"If we listen to each other's heart we'll find were never to far apart."
"Set the world in motion by reaching out for eachother's hands"- Just a few goofy movie quotes to brighten your day. Classic!

Confession Session

1. I recently commandeered Miken's sweatshirt. It is beautiful and in all fairness I did give her one of mine. Still she argued, trying to convince me to give it back to her. She kept trying to tell me about all the memories she had had with it. About 5 minutes prior to this converstation I had popped a pimple and wiped a speck of blood onto said sweatshirt. Back to the convo...Miken pointed right at that tiny little stain, and declared that she had dropped a splotch of paint in her art class sophomore year right there. She straight up lied to my face! But since I didn't want to admit to what I had just done I just went with her false memory and I lied too!

2. This past weekend I was at home and I had in my possession a little ziplock bag full of all my favorite jewlery. I was in the bathroom putting it away and the toilet seat happened to be up (I curse who evers fault that was) At the precise moment that I lifted up this bag, the darn plastic decided to loose all integrity and all of my jewelry spilled to the bottom of the toilet! I promptly proceeded to FLIP OUT! Momacita dear came running and and immediately swooped in and grabbed all of my jewelry...with her bare hand...out of the toilet, washed it off and drowned it in clorox. She then continued to argue with me for the rest of the weekend that it was infact clean, but I remained unconvinced. The day I was going to leave, La Momacita was Still trying to convince me to pick up all that jewelry and take it home. I wouldn't have anything to do with it, when she picked an earing up and straight up LICKED IT! BAH foolish woman! Well I took it home if for no other reason than to get her to stop licking my sicknast jewelry!

3. One of my roomates( who will remain nameless) decided to buy a big bag of delicious candy. I being human maybe gave into temptation once or twice (or lots) and stole lots of her candy and ate it! The worst of it is I threw the wrappers in another roomies(who will remain nameless) trash can, so that it woul look like she ate it. Im such a sneaky sinner bahahah. One day at lunch I was speaking to the previous roomie about this event and she devulged to me that she thought the latter roomie was creepin on her candy, and I went with it! I totally let her believe that roomie numero dos was the culprit, and she believed me, and since the roomies dont read this blog thats how its gonna stay!

What confessions do you have!? Hold no bars please...

I had a wonderful weekend spent with my familia. It felt so good to enjoy fall and thanksgiving with all my buddies. They were crazy and it did take a while to get used to rhino rolling around the whole house in his little hamster ball, but other then that everything was the beyst! My first day home Lillian and I went out for a run that afternoon. We were out and about a bit to long, and were worried that we wouldn't get home in time to eat dinner with the missionaries. We were running on home, when two missionaries come riding by on their bikes. We wave at them mid run and ask if they happen to be going to our home for dinner. Turns out they were! we laughed and told them we would see them there in just a bit. After that Lilly and I had to run REALLY fast to make it home on time.
Thanksgiving Dinner was delicious, and all the left overs were even better! The boy-os went out hunting that afternoon so the rest of us girls got to chillax! The weekend also included a killer game of yard hockey/dodge ball, a lovely visit from my best buddy Mandy! (long over due), and lots of delicious hot chocolate!

Cheek to cheek

When I first moved in, my battery powered tooth brush turned out to be a thing of great speculation. For the first week or so, every time I brushed my teeth the roomies would freak out just a little bit. Im a bit of a tooth brushaholic so they had many opportunities to adapt to the gentle buzz that permiated our ity bity little dorm. Once I felt they were comfortable enough with this, I introduced them each spontaneously to a whole new sensation. While brushing my teeth, I would put my tooth brush on one side of my mouth, and have one of them put themselves cheek to cheek with me. I am told that this produced a fun tingly sensation, and I hope each of them enjoyed this little bonding moment with me. I can only hope for the day when I will get my own special buddy who I will, oh so lovingly, MaKe buy one of these special tooth brushes so that I can experience the other end of this little dealio.
In other news, yesterday was a wonderful day for many reasons, but most notable of these was the fact that STAR TREK came out on dvd!!! I saw it in theaters 4 times so needless to say I bought it as well. We had a lovely star trek gathering at Tessa's house that night to watch our feature film. I thoroughly enjoyed Tyrell quickly pulling out his knife to help me slice open the plastic covering on the dvd case. Opening them with your fingers is just unacceptable. I also loved falling asleep half way through it, and being awoken by Miken in the form of steam rollers! Bah what a rude awakening.
Ready for this!? Another awkward moment with EAC boys. They never fail to rise to the occasion. I was walking to espanol when I came across a buddy and started chatting with him. He was telling me about his anatomy class that he had just attended and how interesting it is to learn how the human body works. I agreed with him until he followed it up with, "and now I have such a better appreciation for women and what they go through. I will never argue with a woman again when she complains about her menastration cycle."...Oh goodness Im so glad we had that heart to heart conversation.
And now I am going to head down to the caf, can't wait grab some edible(hopefully) food and chat/laugh it up with my tennis pals!!!
p.s. Ill save some chocolate milk for you dad!
